Christian Skate Night

Tonight was a fun night at Astro Skate playing christian music of all sorts. Red light green light was great. The young man who got sent back ended up winning. The inflatable was popular as usual. Got to see some take advantage of the hair color spray and face paint. Maybe I will see you there next time. Check my website for more details and future dates.

Congratulations Don & Cindy

I had the priveledge of prviding the sound for the ceremony and reception and it was a blast. The wedding took place at a park and the weather was nice. They put there own touches on the wedding which was nice and unique. I should have some pictures posted soon and you will see what I am referring to. Thank you Don and Cindy.

Reception Location

Ok so you are now ready to search for that special place to have your reception. Here are a few things I have learned I would like to pass to you. Look at the parking lot, sounds funny I know but you want to make sure they have enough room for you guests. Asks to see pictures of past weddings that have been done in the room so you can see how well the room transforms. Are they flexible on the room setup or is it there way only. Do the lights dim or is it on / off in different sections. When settling on time be sure and ask about access to the room for your vendors to setup. That should not be part of the time you book for your reception. This is just a few things to consider when looking for a place for your reception.

What Next?

Congratulations you are engaged. So what next? Where to start? What to do first? These are only a couple of questions you might be asking yourself. First let me say sit down and relax before you start any type of planning. Now close your eyes and think about your wedding day. What do you see? What do you hear (depending on location could be ocean waves)? Now when you are ready write down what you saw from the invataions, tabel decorations, ceremony, and reception . I think by doing this it will allow you to have a easier time planning because you know what you want. I hope this helps you in your planning.

Table Numbers?

When you are looking at the seating arrangement and how many tables don't always think if numbers. Tables can be named what ever you want them to be. You can have them listed as places you have been to, or places you would like to go. Just remember your tables do not have to be numbered.
